This study aims to explore the economic resilience and spiritual well-being of Muslim gig workers within the framework of Maqasid al-Shari'ah. It investigates how Islamic principles contribute to balancing economic challenges with spiritual fulfillment in the gig economy. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 Muslim gig workers. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns in how participants integrate their faith into their work practices. The findings reveal that Muslim gig workers rely on Maqasid al-Shari'ah principles to maintain a balance between financial stability and spiritual well-being, focusing on ethical practices, social responsibility, and trust in divine will. Spiritual fulfillment was found to play a significant role in reducing the stress and uncertainty associated with gig work. This research contributes to the literature on Islamic economics by offering a novel perspective on the application of Maqasid al-Shari'ah in the gig economy. The implications of this study suggest that integrating spiritual well-being with economic resilience can offer valuable insights for supporting gig workers. Future research could further explore the application of Islamic principles across different sectors and regions.
